These eight checklists are for anyone leading a team for the first time — a newly promoted engineer, a fresh Scrum Master, or anyone else who went to bed an individual contributor and woke up someone's manager. They cover the moments that make or break a first-time manager's opening months: the first meeting, the first quarter, the first 1:1, and the conversations most people put off until they become a crisis. Each one is free, tick-off, and saves your progress in the browser — there's no sign-up wall in front of any of them.
If you're starting from scratch, work through them in this order: start with First Team Meeting to set the tone in week one, then use First 90 Days to pace your first quarter. Once you're a few weeks in, First 1:1 and Managing Former Peers cover the relationships that need the most care early. Difficult Feedback and the Not-To-Do list are there for when things get harder than expected, and Self-Assessment and Greeting Prompts are built for regular, ongoing use rather than a single pass — keep coming back to them as the job changes under you.
The Professional Scrum Master course covers the part a checklist can't: what to do when the team disagrees with you.
